James joined Inclusion in September 2008 from the British Contact Lens Association, where he organised leading industry conferences, scientific evening meetings and training seminars. Before working with ophthalmologists and contact lens practitioners, James was based in the social Inclusion field working with Red Kite Learning.
As Head of Events, James manages and oversees the annual Inclusion national and international event programme. This includes the Welfare to Work series and developing the Inclusion generic and bespoke training programme.
James creates and produces all event publicity and supportive material to include dual language event programmes and simultaneous audio translation at international events. He ensures all material adheres to Inclusion’s style policy guidelines.
James works closely with Inclusion's policy and communications team and the oraganisations new Think Tank. Together through strategy and development they identify topic streams, recommend speakers and source revenue streams through sponsorship and promote events via various marketing channels.
In his time with Inclusion he has developed and built relationships with an extensive network of key services providers and sponsors.
