Employment and skills

Lone parent obligations- Department for Work and Pensions

In partnership with the Centre for Public Policy, the Institute for Fiscal Studies and NatCen, Inclusion is undertaking an evaluation of the changes to the obligations on lone parents who claim benefit. The evaluation will cover the implementation of the policy, and its impact.

In partnership with the Institute for Employment Studies and NICEC, Inclusion has been commissioned to undertake the evaluation of the advancement network prototypes.

Child poverty

Greater Manchester Child Poverty Strategy - Manchester Enterprises

Inclusion will deliver child poverty strategy sessions in the 10 Greater Manchester districts in order to facilitate the process of bringing together local stakeholders.

Equality and diversity

Diversity Monitoring - Jobcentre Plus

Inclusion will analyse service and HR data and undertake a systematic literature review of wide ranging documents to identify and examine equality and diversity issues.

Improving partnerships

Baseline work for the development of Working Neighbourhood Teams - Commission for Economic Development, Employment and Skills

In October 2008, Inclusion was commissioned to support the development of new Working Neighbourhood Teams (WNTs) across Greater Manchester. The principal objective of WNTs was to engage more inactive residents and increase the proportion of existing claimants in Greater Manchester’s most deprived wards that access employment and skills support.

Vulnerable and excluded groups

TSP evaluation - Off the Streets and Into Work (OSW)

Inclusion has been commissioned by OSW to undertake a contemporaneous evaluation of the Transitional Spaces Project which is managed by OSW.

Vulnerable groups workshops - Consumer Council for Water

Inclusion is delivering a workshop for the Consumer Council for Water's policy officers to help identify ways in which the council can forge links with other provision that targets vulnerable households and raise the performance of water services in meeting the needs of these customers.
