Transitional Spaces Project evaluation

Off the Streets and into Work

Inclusion has been commissioned by Off the Streets and into Work (OSW) to undertake a contemporaneous evaluation of the Transitional Spaces Project which is managed by OSW. The Transitional Spaces Project aims to enable single homeless hostel residents to move on from hostel living into both employment and independent housing.

The aim of the contemporaneous evaluation is to build an evidence base of what has been effective (or not effective) during implementation of TSP, the costs and benefits, and to establish how the project can be mainstreamed i.e. impact and sustainability evaluations.

The evaluation includes both qualitative and quantitative elements, the qualitative including interviews with stakeholders and delivery staff, and focus groups with clients, and the quantitative element is centred on analysis of management information collected for OSW in the OSW LINK database.
