Survey design and analysis

In a climate of evidence based policy, ensuring research has the correct methodology and is carried out to the highest quality standards has never been more important. Inclusion has a wealth of experience of applying appropriate quantitative research methods to a variety of situations from small scale local surveys to large scale national ones.

All surveys are carried out ethically, to the highest quality, within realist time frames and using the most rigorous design possible in the given budget. Whether surveying vulnerable people or hard to reach groups Inclusion will ensure the appropriate survey design is used.

Inclusion has experience of a range of survey methodologies including

Inclusion has a successful history of working in partnership with large research agencies to carry out large scale telephone and face-to-face fieldwork for surveys in which the survey design, analysis and interpretation is carried out by Inclusion. For example, Inclusion is currently working in partnership with Ipsos MORI to carry out a survey of young parents funded through Care to Learn in 2006/07.

Inclusion staff have extensive experience of analysing survey data ranging from simple descriptive statistics are needed or more complex multivariate analysis such as regression models. Software used for analysis includes SPSS and R.
