'New opportunties: fair chances for the future' white paper released

Today, the Prime Minister launched plans to build fair chances for everyone to succeed in the new economy. New Opportunities: Fair Chances for the Future describes the government’s agenda for winning the jobs of the future for Britain and investing in families, communities and citizens over a lifetime to help them progress and develop.

At a time of tough economic conditions, the government argues that the coming decade ‘offers vast new opportunities for Britain, with up to a billion skilled jobs created worldwide in the coming years’, which it wants to ensure are available to anyone, no matter their background.
