Lydia has experience of both qualitative and quantitative research, having worked across the research and policy teams at Inclusion for the last two years.

She is part of the European team.  Her primary work focus is ESF-funded projects, particularly in the field of offending and drug and alcohol policy with relation to employment.

Her recent research projects include the Ex-offender Community Practice (EXOCOP) evaluation of offender employment provision across all European member states, and Models of Mentoring in Employment (MOMIE), the development and evaluation of mentoring projects in the UK, Portugal and Hungary, for people at risk of social exclusion.

Lydia coordinates the European Offender Employment Forum with Mike Stewart, a pan-European network of organisations working in the field of offender rehabilitation. She also oversees the National Employment Offender Network for organisations in the UK who are co-financed by the Ministry of Justice and the European Social Fund.
