Pippa is a Senior Researcher at Inclusion and has experience of designing and managing social research across a range of policy areas, including poverty, equality and diversity, migration and criminal justice.
She has particular expertise in qualitative research, with skills and experience in carrying out literature reviews, in-depth interviews and focus groups. Pippa also has quantitative research skills and experience, including survey design and analysis and secondary data analysis.
Currently Pippa is project managing the Working Mothers project – a longitudinal study of women returners - for Women Like Us, and the qualitative evaluation of Lone Parent Obligations for the Department for Work and Pensions.
Prior to joining Inclusion, Pippa worked at the Barrow Cadbury Trust, developing the Trust's research activities across its project areas of criminal justice, migration, and poverty and inclusion. She commissioned and managed a number of research projects, including a study of poverty and inequality in Birmingham and an analysis of migration policy.
Pippa has experience using SPSS and Atlas-ti qualitative analysis software.
